When you book a session with me - we will discuss a start time. From that start time, I will be at your disposal until we either reach a satisfaction of captured images or I run out of daylight. Average portrait sessions can range between 45 minutes to 1.5 hours depending on location and lighting. Wedding coverage is based on the package chosen.

My goal is to always provide a relaxed, enjoyable session while making the most of natural light.

Mini sessions are short and sweet, typically lasting 10-20 minutes, depending on the number of requested poses.

For general sessions such as family, maternity, newborn, and senior; my turn-around time can be in as little as 2 days but could take up to 5 business days depending on surrounding sessions I may be taking on.

For wedding and prom, images could take up to 4 weeks but my average turnaround time for weddings is closer to 1.5 weeks. It will vary depending on your final event selection.

I deliver your images on a thumb drive, which provides you with the freedom to print as you wish. I can also deliver your images digitally but will be in conjunction to a thumb drive and not solely digital.

I do not currently offer print services, but I’m happy to recommend high-quality print labs such as Snapfish, Shutterfly, VistaPrint or extra-high quality print labs such as MPix.

A thumb drive offers you the freedom to print when you want. This is the most important factor in why I insist on a thumb drive. Because computers can crash, websites can close down, and physical prints can be damaged over time whereas a thumb drive can be kept in a water-tight small container in a safe location and always accessible if you decide that you want to print an image 10-50 years from now.

You also have the freedom to print how many you want and at what quality you desire the most which helps you remain within your own budget as far as printing.

Ultimately, if you don’t want to use the images to print but plan to upload to social media, then this thumb drive allows you to upload at your convenience when you are ready to share with your world.

Is a second photographer needed and are they worth it?

YES! A second photographer is required for certain packages since I will be busy with the bride, the second photographer ensures that the groom’s day is captured too!

How much time should we plan for the wedding party and family portraits?

I recommend setting aside at least a minimum of an hour and a half total for party and family portraits unless you plan to have a photo booth set up during the reception. More time allows for a relaxed experience and allows time to go grab ‘Joe’ who ran off last minute but needs to be in the photo.

Do you pose couples or do you capture more candid photos?

I do a mix of both! For the majority of your night, I will be capturing the candid essence of your perfect day. Then at times, with permission, I will pull aside to pose in a location that catches my eye. My goal is to create your wedding portfolio with a variety of authentic, romantic, and true personality.

What happens if it rains on our wedding day?

I embrace it! I promise I’ve tried to melt in rain and I seem to survive. However, if a location change happens last minute, I am flexible and can transition if necessary. Rainy weddings can be incredibly romantic but I understand if you do not wish for your perfect hair-do to be drenched as you’re saying ‘I Do.” Just keep me informed and I’ll follow along.

Will I be charged if we decide we no longer want to do family portraits on our wedding day and only do wedding party portraits only?

Yes. This package is the same cost regardless of how many groups of individuals I capture during the dedicated time-frame for portraits. Cost will only fluctuate if multiple locations are requested for this option of the wedding package.

Although this answer can fluctuate based on season, I recommend to avoid busy patterns. During the scheduling portion of your session, we will discuss the ‘vibe’ you’re hoping to achieve and from that I can provide guidance or help you brainstorm ideas.

Oh my goodness, YES! Pets are family too. Just let me know in advance so we can plan accordingly.

The number of images varies by session, but I focus on delivering quality over quantity. You can expect a well-curated gallery filled with your best moments. Again, the session time is un-rushed, so you can feel at ease knowing that I will work the day away until you feel comfortable that the session was a success.

I don’t highly promote large event photography, but I love capturing high school couples going to prom and pre-prom (promenade) sessions.

While large events aren’t my primary focus, I’m open to discussing the details of your needs and if it is a good fit, we’ll make it happen!

While this can vary depending on the type of session, here’s a general guide:

Family Sessions: I typically provide props like blankets or other items we've discussed during the planning stage of your session.

Maternity: I have a selection of dresses available for maternity shoots. However, if these don’t align with your style or if you have a particular look in mind, feel free to shop for your own outfits and bring them to the session.

Newborn: Since every family has their own unique style, my collection of newborn props is limited. I recommend researching styles that suit your preferences, sharing your vision with me, and we can discuss what I may already have that fits your needs.

I promise my pricing is not a secret. I just don’t include the pricing on my website to prevent inaccuracies. Inaccuracies can happen if I am running specials or have discounted items for a period of time and want to be as accurate as possible.
